Harvest Festival
Sunday 13th October - 10:00 am
Tony Miller, Director of the Whitechapel Mission, will lead our service.
The Whitechapel Mission works with people sleeping on the streets of London. Our
donations of food will go towards this work, with fresh produce being sent to St Francis Hospice. Imagine serving 350 breakfasts every day – but then it might even be 600 today!
That’s an awful lot of food!
The Whitechapel Mission needs our help to provide breakfasts for people living on London’s streets (alongside their other work – providing showers, clothing, advice, skills training, etc) – this is where our harvest tins and packages will go.
Items most desperately needed at the moment include: Tinned Fruit; Porridge; Cornflakes; Weetabix; Any cereals; Coffee; Instant Hot Chocolate;
Bottled Water; Plum Tomatoes; Chopped Tomatoes; Baked Beans; Ketchup; Brown
Sauce; Sugar; Honey; Chocolate Spread; Nutella; Peanut Butter; Salt; Black Ground
Pepper.

Christmas Tree Festival Planning Meeting
Wednesday 25th September - 1.30pm
If you would like to join this planning meeting you would be very, very welcome. We will be discussing the theme, a charity to support, advertising, the jobs that need to be undertaken and trying to share these amongst as many people as possible.
